Aside from capturing the event itself, my duties included taking head shots of each girl honoree. Those head shots were printed onto decal paper that were then transferred to the center of a china plate. During the girls' workshop they were able to get creative by decorating the china plate with really cool designs, colors and words.
The Young Men of Honor learned how to tie a tie during their workshop, which was led by Rosa's husband, Mark. They also learned the importance of their role as young men of honor and how to carry themselves as such.
The conference ended with the presentation of gifts to the guest speakers, a raffle giveaway and the presentation of a special ring to the girls, and dog tag to the boys by their parents. It was heartwarming to see such a special moment between the children and their parents, and I was glad to have the opportunity to capture it on camera. Congratulations to all the honorees. You are truly "Fine China" and Young Men of Honor and are well deserving of this recognition. Continue to make your parents and teachers proud!
